IPCC | Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change - established in 1988, this is a scientific body that operates under the UN. |
NAP | National Adaptation Programme - a UK government document that sets out what is being done to adapt to climate change. |
SUDS | Sustainable Urban Drainage System - susdrain offers some more information. |
UNFCCC | UN Framework Convention on Climate Change - the UNFCC newsroom offers more information. |
UKCIP | UK Climate Impacts Programme - established in 1997 and sits within the University of Oxford. |
UKCP09 | The name given to the UK climate projections, made using data supplied by the Met Office. |
