Sometimes, if not very carefully formed, the waste outlets and connection points can make the seating of pipes and pipe connectors, neoprene washers and the like extremely difficult. If the pipe fails to seat properly there is a temptation to over-tighten the thread on the connector, which can lead to the plastic pipe eventually shearing away.

Solution

It may be better to purchase a slightly more expensive product where quality is assured. Sometimes more expensive products (including continuous non-jointed pipe runs for example) can save money in the long run.
